Infrastructure
Peter Smith leads this area having expertise in utilities and services for mines and ports. He has worked as a Senior Manager for Non Process Infrastructure, responsible for land, tenure, housing and village accommodation, water pipelines, regional airports, electricity procurement and transmission infrastructure. Peter has extensive experience with draglines, shovels and coal preparation plants, implementing technical and productivity improvements both domestically and internationally.
Our role with Infrastructure
Mine Infrastructure works directly with clients and utility providers to deliver power, water and accommodation services to operations.
MIS has recently assisted businesses by reviewing and developing compliant systems and documentation allowing customers to maintain compliance to the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act, the Rail Safety Act and the Workplace Health and Safety Act for new and existing operations.
